使命:

老师对老师 (T2T) is an interdisciplinary working group of faculty whose purpose is to promote campus-wide conversations about effective teaching, whether that teaching occurs in a traditional classroom, 在线数字空间, 或者在其他教育背景下.

 

Objectives of the T2T working group include supporting faculty by:

  • Creating professional development opportunities for the exchange of pedagogical ideas
  • Encouraging pedagogical innovation based on best practices
  • Recognizing diversity in teaching and learning styles
  • Fostering opportunities for faculty collaboration

教师 from across campus came together to share best practices related to speaking in the classroom. Four broad categories of communication were addressed: informal classroom participation, 在线交流, 困难的对话, 评估/评价口语. Slides and handouts from the presentations can be found on the T2T知识库

T2T座谈

你问,T2T听到!  根据你的建议, T2T, in conjunction with the 教师 Success Committee, hosted an informal peer-mentoring event at 的 Point.  Participants divided into small groups and exchanged strategies for navigating academic life and pedagogical challenges (large and small). Tables were stocked with questions/issues that have surfaced during past events, but priority was given to the questions participants brought. This event will repeated again in Spring 2022.
